9 Things I Love About Books That Don't Have Anything To Do With Reading

How many times have you found yourself trying to explain to non-readers, your family and friends, your love for reading? How many times have you stopped in front of the bookstore just to check what new books they have and you'd get one of the following questions: 1. Didn't you just buy a new book? or 2. Why do you need another book when you have so many back home? Or even worts, 3. Can't you just borrow it from the library? Well yes, I did just buy a new book. And yes, I do have a whole shelf/shelves full of book(s) back home, thank you for pointing that out. Yes, you'll probably be able to find it in the library eventually, although let's be honest, if you're reading in English and live in a non-English speaking country how big are the chances that the book will appear in the library? Slim to none, that's how big they are. They simply don't realize it, and probably never will. Why? They're not interested and they don't care. And it's ...

Lines Christmas Scene

Lines Christmas Scene AMELIA Another knock rings on my bedroom door. “Coming!” I yell but don’t move an inch from my spot. “You said that the last three times your mom came and the last two I knocked. We’re going to be late, little one.” The way his voice deepens when he speaks my name makes to Goosebumps rise on my flesh. It’s low and intimate, and to be honest, cute. 2018 in books

2018 was a mix of this and that for me. Re-reading old favorites while finding new-to-me-authors to love and at the same time reading a new release by my all time favorite authors! This is the year I bought the biggest amount of paperbacks, both in English and Croatian, more than a hundred of them. *All of the books I bought/got in 2018* Some of my favorite re-reads are definitely the Hashtag series by Cambria Hebert and Wallflowers series by Lisa Kleypas! The first is NA sports romance that if you haven't read yet, you have to as soon as possible. The second one if a historical romance.  FAVORITE BOOKS IN 2018 *posted in no particular order* 1. Stacy Kestwick - Drumline Drumline by Stacy Kestwick was my first book by her and the first book I finished in 2018 and it was amazing. One really deep and emotional college romance, but with a twist like you haven't seen before.  So many feelings, so much angst, unexpected situations, and love! 2. Tea...
